War Torn Blades

Costume Weapons and Decorative Pieces. Each item is hand made using a variety of different materials from leather and birch wood to steal. I use a sandable primer so that I can get the blades nice and smooth before I begin paint. During the paint stage I stick to using hand brushes to better control my ability to texture inconsistently and highlight smaller areas. Finally I finish with a few layers of polyurethane top coat. Between the multiple layers of top coat I sprinkle (depending on the piece) either stone dust or metal flake to accentuate the texturing on each blade. Every item is custom designed then created upon the order by the customer/vendor.
